Dr Liz Bagshaw has interests in glaciology, biogeochemistry and microbiology – that is, how life exists in extreme cold environments, what impact it has, and how we can measure it.
After a PhD in Antarctic Biogeochemistry and postdoctoral training in Glaciology and Engineering, Liz moved to Cardiff University to take up a lectureship in Earth and Environmental Sciences in 2014. Now a Reader, she will take up an Associate Professorship in Glaciology at the University of Bristol in April 2023.
